Female and male infertility

Infertility or difficulty in conceiving a baby is an increasingly common problem that affects about one in six couples today.

It can be:

  1. of mechanical origin (physical abnormality of the reproductive system, blockage of the fallopian tubes or sperm channels, etc.). In this case, the use of conventional medical techniques such as IVF is often required.
  2. of known functional origin: following endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome, hormonal disorder, low ovarian reserve, etc.
  3. of unknown origin: unexplained infertility

We can often intervene favourably for the last 2 categories, namely known functional causes and unexplained infertility, for both men and women.
