First appointment

The first meeting is of great importance to help me help you effectively. It is a consultation lasting about 45 to 60 minutes to discuss your discomforts.

Course of this meeting:

During this comprehensive consultation you will have plenty of time to explain the reason(s) for your visit, your health history, your steps, etc. I will take the time to listen to you in order to understand the discomforts you are experiencing.

Together we will review the questionnaire that was previously filled out and I will ask you several other questions in order to evaluate/identify the causes of your discomfort.

I will proceed to the evaluation of the signs and symptoms using various methods specific to traditional Chinese medicine (observation of the tongue, pulse taking, classification of the symptoms on the 5 movements analysis grid, palpation of meridians, etc).

I will then show you the results of my analysis and simply explain the mechanisms involved.

Finally, if I believe I can help, I will propose a treatment strategy using the approach(es) best suited to your condition or that of your child.

This first meeting may include an initial treatment depending on its complexity and duration.

This type of appointment is required for one (or more) of the following reasons

• You have chronic pain
• You suffer from a chronic health problem
• You wish to improve your health globally and durably
• You are looking for a preventive health method
• You do not know what would be beneficial to you
• You want a global method that integrates complementary therapies

Preparing for your first appointment :

What to do before your first appointment in Chinese Medicine?

Please prepare and bring :

• Your completed and signed questionnaires
• The list of your medications and health products
• Your last blood tests
• Your latest test reports

In addition:

• It is best to eat lightly
• Please bring shorts and a t-shirt or loose clothing

Please avoid scratching or brushing your tongue
